To maximise our accessibility for customers we are now selling items on ebay. We will be selling some items on ebay that may not be on display on our main Plantography website, such as unique collectable items.
Both having worked as nurses in the NHS and hospice care, husband and wife Simon and Clare Lewis moved from the West Midlands to Shrewsbury two years ago. They started with market trading last year so as to share their combined love of gardening, nature and photography, and were thrilled to be offered the opportunity to move into a vacant artisan unit at the British Ironwork Centre near Oswestry, Shropshire in Spring 2025,
They are especially keen to align with the Ironworks theme of recycling and as such upcycle materials as alternative planters or vessels for indoor and outdoor plants.
Clare is keen to share her love of all things botanical and plans to organise workshops at the artisan unit in the areas of terrarium and propagation. She is keen to be a source of plant and garden advice and support to customers both in store and via Plantography's online pages.
As well as working with and learning from Clare on their "green" projects, Simon continues to enjoy photography, sharing an eclectic range of images from macro flowers, insects, and wildlife to landscape and street photography.
Having experienced a professional lifetime of public communication as nurses, they both thoroughly enjoy the social interaction their artisan unit brings. They are thrilled to be able to welcome visitors to the artisan shop they have always dreamed of.
